Tis the season to be jolly. Or in most cases, tis the season for seasonal depression. What is one thing that helps your mood on those cold, dark winter nights? Right, it is journaling.

Write about the beauty of winter landscapes or scenery. Use descriptive language to capture the serene atmosphere.
Write a letter to yourself of winter’s past. How has life been different this year from when you were 6? 10? 18?

These are great journal prompts. I tend to get writers block, especially in the winter. We also have very long and gray winters here in Upstate NY, so it is good to have a way to talk about it!
